Position Summary:

The Commercial Sales Account Executive, is responsible for driving new services growth for the company within an assigned territory and ensuring customer growth through distribution accounts. This person is the company ‘brand steward’, charged with telling the company story and clearly demonstrating that the company is the leader in its space. The Commercial Sales Account Executive, is responsible for securing profitable sales to prospective commercial customers and for managing an existing base of distributors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Adhere to current company policies, procedures, products, programs and services. Execute a customer-focused strategy that will lead to greater revenue growth through our distribution network. Manage an active sales funnel of commercial prospects to obtain new logo accounts. Conduct lunch and leads with the architectural and design community to get product specified for future jobs. Follow up with prospects. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of complete line of products/services and customers’ issues and needs through in-house training and reading/research.

Job Requirements

Education:

College degree preferred. High school degree or equivalent required.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a successful commercial sales representative.

Other:

Valid drivers’ license with clean driving record Ability to work a full time schedule available for 25%-50% travel.
